What is Edo Development Aid?

Edo Development Aid was created with the sole aim of helping the people of Edo State to overcome poverty, improve their health and achieve a good education. We are focused on creating a sustainable charity, and our ultimate goal is for all people of Edo State to live free of poverty and have access to the basic necessities of life.

We believe a fairer Edo State in Nigeria is only achievable if no one is left behind, and we can only carry out this vital mission with your help and assistance.

We have five strategic goals:

1. Sustainable opportunities: To create or support sustainable opportunities or activities to reduce poverty in Edo State, in line with the UNICEF and UN Sustainable Development Goals to eradicate poverty in all forms.
2. Partnership working: To work with other agencies for safe and secure communities in Edo State.
3. Personal Development: Raise people’s awareness of healthy lifestyles and the impacts of environmental sanitation and diseases on health.
4. Service provision: Provision of personnel, basic health facilities, equipment, medicines and vaccinations to increase people’s life expectancies and reduce premature deaths in Edo communities.
5. Empowering people: To empower the people of Edo State to find their strengths and potentials and support them to bring those potentials into reality for a better future.
